CHILDREN'S WAR
This term we have been learning about ANZAC , we read Children's War and about the 28th Moari battlion. ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance in who served and died in all wars. On the 28th of July 1914 the World War started and ended on the 11 of November 1918. The word ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps. In 1916, 25 April was officially named ANZAC Day and the first dawn service for ANZAC Day was in 1923.
